Algon Recycling & Repurposing Programme
Four years ago, we set out on a mission: to recycle as many ALGON bottles as possible and make a real difference-
one bottle at a time!
To kick things off, we teamed up with some of our amazing cornerstone retailers, placing ALGON-branded recycling bins in stores to encourage customers to return their empty bottles. The first season started slow, but we stuck with it, and over the next three years, we saw fantastic progress!
Thanks to ongoing promotion and training for shop staff, the programme became a win-win. Customers bring back their empty bottles, doing their part for the planet, and at the same time, they’re back in-store—ready to top up on their favourite ALGON products! It’s a simple way to boost sales while promoting sustainability.

Repurposing Programme
We have also this season started a “repurposing programme”. This involves taking a percentage of our ALGON returned bottles and turning them into promotional scoops – Photo. These have proven extremely popular as promotional giveaways. Once again greatly appreciated by our retailers who, in turn, give these away to their customers as a gift.
